The expansive halls became a global epicenter for food innovation as TUTTOFOODāItalyās premier B2B trade fair for the agri-food sectorāwelcomed industry professionals from around the world. Thoughtfully arranged with color-coded sections highlighting everything from Italian specialties to health-centric products, the exhibition offered an engaging and immersive space to explore cutting-edge food trends and emerging business opportunities.

A Growing Plant-Based Presence
This year's exhibition featured a notable increase in plant-based offerings, reflecting the industry's response to changing consumer preferences. The Italian Specialty Selections area showcased traditional producers incorporating plant-based alternatives alongside their conventional offerings.
PLANTVERSE, a relatively new player in the plant-based ecosystem, made its presence known with its innovative approach to connecting vegan brands with retail opportunities. Our platform, which offers consulting, fractional sales services, and a curated marketplace for vegan products, attracted significant attention from both established manufacturers and retail buyers looking to expand their plant-based portfolios.
Knowledge Exchange Beyond Products
The exhibition's strength lies not just in product showcasing but in its robust conference program. The CIBUS Link Arena hosted panel discussions featuring industry experts examining market dynamics and future trends. Meanwhile, specialized sections like the Mixology Arena (E) and Mixology Main Stage (F) offered interactive demonstrations that blended entertainment with education.
One of the most valuable aspects of TUTTOFOOD was the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops addressing universal industry challenges. The Better Future Arena (C) hosted sessions on sustainability initiatives, while The Academy by APCI (G) delivered professional development opportunities for culinary professionals.

Startup Innovation: The Future of Food
The Startup Area may have been small, but it packed a powerful punch. Emerging companies showcased groundbreaking solutionsāfrom alternative proteins to food waste reduction and supply chain innovation. Many of these forward-thinking startups were contenders in the Better Future Award, highlighting their role at the forefront of food tech and sustainability.
TUTTOFOOD serves as both a marketplace and a forum for the exchange of ideas, connecting tradition with innovation across the entire food industry spectrum. As the exhibition concluded, I left with new business connections, market insights, and a deeper understanding of how the industry is evolving to meet changing consumer demands and environmental challenges. From savory to sweet, the food world never rests. Join me next week at Sweets & Snacks as we explore the next wave of delicious vegan innovation. Come hungry for whatās next!
